B-series engines don't bolt to D-series transmissions.
(you would be back to doing a complete swap)
Maybe look at a miniMe conversion for your D15:
-V-TEC head (you could skip the V-TEC and just do the Si Intake manifold)
-Si intake manifold
-wiring mod for V-TEC and fuel injectors to work correctly (maybe, talk to rywire.com) You would be going from dual fuel injectors in you dx to four fuel injectors.
-replace ECU
Auto to manual transmission conversion:
mostly bolt on
-transmission (could be hard to find a 5 speed cable transmission in good condition; there are cable to hydro conversion kits)
-brake/clutch pedal assembly (adjusting the brake push rod to match the brake vacuum booster correctly should be the only tricky part)
-clutch cable
-flywheel
-clutch & pressure plate (use stock or stage 1)
-pilot bearing
-throw out bearing
-shift linkage
-gauge cluster?
-I think, the ECU needs to be changed also.
