Start doing intervals instead of pacing
Or get on a real bike and start measuring in miles as well as time, it is a different workout than a stationary is.
My opinion is that stationary bikes should be used in bad weather as a supplemental workout and not as a main source of cardio unless you are doing "spin" which uses interval training as it's basis.
