So the wife has hinted that she may want a new camera. Her birthday is in two weeks, and I usually buy her a gift for her birthday.

Anyway, she had mentioned she is interested in a DLSR, one with the option to change lenses and what not, and specifically wants a good macro setting (lens?)

I think she has no idea how expensive this shit is. We're about to start medical school, so expenditures of this nature aren't all that necessary.

Anyway, I'm still considering it. Do you have any suggestions? I don't really buy used electronics.

I've been looking at the Nikon L120, although I think it has a fixed lens.
