My wife's grandfather is a huge baseball fan and also a total packrat. He's got a ball signed by Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron, dozens of other signed balls from various famous players including Dimaggio and Mantle, and a ton of cards from all eras. All of the signatures he got himself, and the story he tells about getting the Babe to sign a ball for him in 1938 is awesome. Who knows what else could be lurking in his the bowels of his basement?
