Nope I grew up around Laotian, Hmong, Viet and Koreans, because of that I have eaten dog, cat, horse and a lot of other meats that Americans wouldn't but it is totally acceptable in other cultures. Why eat a cow or ox when it can provide labor to harvest and grow crops which is a longer return than a few meals? So you eat what is abundant and has least impact financially.
