To have the axle changed is a bit of work and kinda expensive, but if u just need to repack ur cv boot its about 40 for the in side and a bit more for the out side. Sometimes even if ur boot is ripped or leaking grease when repack it it makes the axle stop knocking. But that’s just my experience. If your cv boots are ripped or leaking get it repacked fast or else it will lead to changing the axle.
