The Saturn is Dead
Didn't go out the way I thought it would. With all the racket coming from the serpentine belt area, I figured the tensioner or idler pulley (or some other accessory pulley) would go out.
Engine started to run very sluggish, pressing on the gas didn't do anything. Then, I started to smell gas (the kind that goes in the car, not the stuff that comes out of me). Looks like the fuel line broke, or came loose, or some other piece of the fuel system has a leak. I left a trail of gasoline on the road as I pulled to the side of the road.
Probably time to say adios and send it to the junkyard. We better not go to war with Iran and have $10/gal gas because the HEMI hauler is not quite as fuel efficient.
