Left the tattoo shop I was working at up in PA back in October after getting hired back at my old conferencing job, working the overnight to make up for lost savings this past year. Was really down and out... thought I would be out of tattooing for a while.
After three weeks, the conference center had to let me go, as they had hired me preemptively in expectation of a client coming on board. Client backed out.
About a month or so ago, I got a call from the guys who now own the shop that I originally started at. They bought a shop that's about a 12 minutes drive from my house, and wanted me to work there.
Started two weeks ago.
great news.
i'm too lazy to look for a different job and afraid that if i get one i'll get laid off or something. i feel like just staying with the current one for now for the security and money is worth it, even if it's not the best thing in the world.
my girl just graduated with her masters in accounting. hopefully she gets a job very quickly :x:
