Default School me on tablets o:

I basically have my pick of tablets for Christmas this year, but I need educated on what to select. I did some searching but it's hard for me to consolidate all the information.

I am not opposed to the iPad, but my reasons for wanting an Android tablet as mainly because I have purchased apps for my Incredible that I would like to use on the larger screen, rather than have to purchase new/comparable apps on a different platform.

My main reason for wanting a tablet is for work. I have several medical reference apps that have/can come in handy en route to a call/in the back of the truck, rather than have a stack paper guides/handouts and pocket guides laying around. I've also found apps that will let me document calls/patient info rather than writing it down, only to have to type up later. I have read of other medics that use their tablet for these same things.

I also want it for light document editing (from Google Docs) and for doing some other light "work" tasks.

I would not oppose to using it for media, but that is not its first priority. I have an iPod paired with my h/u in my truck.

I would also like to purchase some sort of cover/stand and a bluetooth keyboard with it.

So, what's the consensus?
