The fuel pump is near the distributor, fed off the camshaft. You can pull the fuel line off the carb and put it in a bottle while someone cranks the car to see if you're getting fuel flow.

Beyond that, you may need to get a can of carb and choke cleaner and spray in the fuel inlet to free up the floats and needles, and spray the carb to make sure all the linkages are working and free. Now would be a good time to change fuel filters to eliminate that as a potential problem as well. There is one in the engine bay, and one back near the gas tank on the driver's side.
