Personally I have a SRI because I'm a student, not doing so well financially right now, and there's no worrying about hydrolock. What I have done to compensate for the hot air is that I have made from 3" PVC my own piping with a big outlet right behind my blinker. When i go to the track I take out my passenger side blinker and the air goes through the PVC straight up to my air filter. In theory it should give me a little but it's hard to say since my last visit to the track was colder than the previous, I did shave .2 s.

So after all that lol I guess it really depends on many variables it's not as simple as which ones better, if you are talking strictly performance on an NA car in normal conditions then I say CAI.

Hope this helps and it wasn't me just blabbering cause I'm bored.
