25% increase in efficiency? Really? Wow, that would be a giant leap forward. The current 125cc Honda scooter for the USA is the PCX, which has 14" wheels, rated by Honda at 110mpg. The next step up would be the 150i, currently with 16" wheels and rated at 91mpg. An educated guess would have Honda replacing the 150 engine with the new 125, as with lesser parasitic loss comes greater usable output. In essence the 125 giving power comparable to a conventional 150 engine. As Ziv noted below that would net approx 115mpg, Very tempting also for those of us who need an urban runabout, Imagine going 200 miles on less than 2 gallons of fuel.
