No matter who you are, at the start of our interaction, my mental gauge of you is at 100%. You're at the highest regard. Over time, you start losing cool points.
There's a dude here at work and he's huge. Monstrous. Can't fit into chairs big. Okay, well ... whatever at the start.
- His work output is sloppy. He's not meeting expectations. Now, I start putting mental connections between his work ethic and his physical appearance.
- He's a moody dickhead at times. His messages come off as accusatory and condescending. I can't make a connection here to his physical appearance ... but now he reminds me of the Simpson's comic book guy.
- He eats potato chips from 9am to 11am, again from 1pm to 3pm every ... fucking ... day. 2 full bags of chips purchased daily at 7-11. I take things a step further and calculate his caloric intake and cost-per-year of snacks.
I'm not sure where I'm going with any of these comments, but I think I just needed to vent about this waste of human matter.
