i know people running 14 psi on stock internalled h22a's. The sleeves handled it fine....the ringlands broke though, yet the compression tests yielded 200psi. if the f22 was such a great engine...why iusnt it used by the professionals? it seems that pappadakis would be running one if the SOHC was such a bette base platform...
the most common problems with h22a's:
broken sensors
holes in valve cover or dented oilpan
missing parts
****ty shops ripping people off on half assed installs.
basically you are buying a junkyard engine, and are at the mercy of the shipping company if you need it shipped.
and as far as teh shops...too many wont back their work and do **** they dont have a clue on. accord h22a swaps are easy as hell, its just that cappy installed think they are just big B series engines...
