Sounds like lots of nasty no good engines around....

Luckily here in Australia, i purchased my JDM H22A engine complete and came with compression tests and miles on it... I also had a chance to do a visual and spot check of the engine before I actually purchased it...


Came with 6 months warranty, unfortunately my ECU was faulty and they replaced it in the following week

The price for engines are quite cheap here compared to the market in the US, its a pitty we dont have a major market for them though cause not much in demand like in the US...

I guess they sell it to the US and make double the amount of profit as compared to selling it here...

Besides i only paid $2100AUS for my complete engine + tranny + 5speed that works out to be $1050
