That's awesome man. I agree crossfit workouts are both fun and challenging. It's a good change of pace from the normal strength training and cardio routines. I guess I'm generalizing a little bit because not all crossfit routines and/or instructors will use the same methods. I've heard cross fit involves a lot of max rep sets with little to no rest (IMO no one should be doing until they've perfected proper form) between exercise, which is good for endurance. If you want to great stronger for all the hard work your doing there are definitely better ways. You will plateau eventually if you don't follow some type of periodization.
Thank you. Yes, there are a minority of people who constantly do improper form in the CrossFit community, people like to blow this example way out of proportion. Thankfully I have trainers that will give me a lot of shit if I do practice incorrect form. The CrossFit gyms with poor instructors and programming don't last long. To put things into perspective, walk into any 24 Hour/LA Fitness gym and let's average how many people are doing exercises with improper range of motion/form.
