I leave to go back to school tomorrow. With my mom passing, everything is screwed up with my financial aid through the school, and I pretty much had to start over. I had to send them tax returns, etc, and did so over two weeks ago. They just got them yesterday. Morons.
After all of that bullshit, I talk to the supervisor of financial aid and she informs me that I was ready to go in the first place, and losing my mom's income (i am dependent if you haven't caught that yet) doesn't put me into a different bracket. I can barely borrow as it is due to my dad's income.
So now that they have received all of my pertinent documents, I should be good to go right? Wrong. My fucking loan counselor froze my loans until I have a mandatory meeting with her. The place is un utter clusterfuck this time of year. Two years ago I had to go to the financial aid office, people slept in their cars the night before so they would have a good spot. In other words, when I got there when the doors opened at 7 am, there were about 75 people in front of me. I didn't get out until 1 pm. FUUUU
if you ever get to gonzales hit me up and we can go grab some lunch :hugglez:
