When I took him to the vet a couple months ago I didn't use a pet carrier. They couldn't believe how calm he was, apparently most cats flip out. Nick just sat down on the table and chilled. The girls there said he's the sweetest cat they've seen and they've been really helpful and genuinely concerned. He's always been pretty laid back but he loves attention. There's been many times when I've felt down and he's jumped on my lap to paw at me or bite me on the nose(gently) to cheer me up. The little guy's been there for me so I've got to be there for him. Right now he's getting an anti-inflammatory and recently some pain medicine. I want to give him as many good days as I can. He still seems to want to keep going so I'm going to help him as much as I can. But when that sparkle in his eyes fade I'll take him in.
