I don't think any higher offset than +42 will work on our cars anyways.

Recommended for 17's are 205/45/17.

Just lower your car first on stock tires, with a 1-2 wheel gap or whatever you want. THEN go to a shop, have them slap 1 17 with 205/45/17 and see how that works, if it doesn't rub then you're good.

If it does rub, then go down to 40 series tire.
