I did it tonight. It worked perfect! If anyone wants to do this to slow down the blinkers, then get a 1 mega ohm pot like cryogen97 mentioned. If you want to speed them up, then get a 100K pot. Thanks again!
a 1 megohm 12 turn pot will do either slow or fast. 100K ohm will give you stock or faster. All pots are tunable from their rated impedance down to a dead short(or very close at least) the higher the number of turns the more "accurate" the adjustments will be.
