Ok I asked a few questions about this in another thread but it is getting to the point where I have alot of ?'s so I don't want to turn his thread into my own.... Here is the thing. I have a 1991 Honda Accord Lx Coupe, I bought some 18x7 rims with a 38 offset. I am being told these are gonna rub like crazy with a 1 to 2 finger gap between the tire and fender. They told me to get 215/35/18 tires. But if this is going to rub AT ALL EVEN QUESTIONABLE I do not want to do it. I will see if Discount Tire will let me return them I bought them about 6 months ago and never got tires for them yet they are still in the boxes, so I am happy to be finding out all this info now before I mounted them and screweed the hopes for an exchange when I found out I rubbed. Please leave me any and all advice you can on what I should do. I was thinking about just trading them for some 17's with a better offset if that is what I need, since they are still brand new if they won't take them back.. Do you think I should go 17's on my 91 or 18's and what like 17x7 17x7.5 18x7 18x7.5 and what offset would there be no questions about me rubbing I do not want any chances..... Also what exactly is offset like the higher I got the more the tire set's in the wheel well not sticking out?
Thanks so much I know I carried on quite a bit and probably lost most of you but this is something big I need to know, I mean hey it's rims right

Thanks in advance guys
