It is most likely a problem with the fuel injection. On the Accords the fuel injection is kinda weird... which also explains why the 5th gen's take a few turns to start up when they are really low on gas.
i just had my fuel injection done yesterday, and i just happen to be on empty right now.... and my car still cranks longer when im running low on fuel.
