i agree its fucking stupid. i used to get into a lot of scuffles in school. i always "defended" myself. but since i was still fighting. it doesn't matter to them. i could get it reduced but not taken away. they stopped in school suspensions by the time i entered high school. from what i heard, those things were grueling too. they sat you in a room with no windows, cranked the heat, and you did work all day.
