If you want gravel/rock you better spend the money and do it right! Lots of people just lay the gravel down a newly ripped up lawn and next thing you know you are weeding your gravel daily.
i was gonna do it myself. i was going to rent a sod cutter, put down some weed barrier, and lay the gravel.
