We've been lenient to members AND moderators who just took advantage of it.

Might as well not have started this thread. only good thing to come out of this thread... Shirley!
BTW I have no beef with any mods I seriously thought you guys wanted input and real answers to the question originally posted. Also based one what I posted I think puffy would make a great super mod.
I'm not quite sure what you mean, but quite frankly, I am certain that a mod is not always right. We've locked horns many times internally regarding policies on members.

As for why I don't take time out of my life to PM members individually to have to "ask them to stop posting certain things" and babysitting them. We've come to the point where we KNOW what the state of the forum is. We either have to help make it better productively rather than having to deal with specific members.
AND for the 10000th time, the issue with the GOD DAMN Facebook thread had nothing to do with Facebook. It was the blatant promotion of the site that was to "replace HAN". Do I think that site will replace HAN? NO, it's a matter of respect.
I've gone down that road with PM'ing members and we've cleared things up. I won't mention any names but the same members that I thought had a mutual understanding and respect would turn on their words. I don't get paid enough to sit and deal with that.
There's a very fine line with "dishing and ragging" vs flat out disrespect. I have yet to see any moderator or admins (including myself) that has crossed the line unless it was in defense.
