I had a whistler, crapped out on me after a year and a half of sitting in the sun. It only saved me once. That was b4 i started to drive on the I-5 alot, where i got 2 radar tickets. They added up to about $400. Imo, if you're in the market for a radar detector, anything bsides the V1 is a waste of money. EVERY SINGLe test by c&d shows that the v1 outperforms anything else on the market.
