Because these things are being cloned left and right, finding an original is a must. The cheaper models aren't reflashable, so you're locked into one firmware. With the originals, you hit a button and you can upgrade on your PC.

Note, you HAVE to be at firmware 3.41. If you're under, you can update manually via USB to the 3.41. If you're over (3.42 or 3.50), you're SOL.
