I just bought a 3M restoration kit and used it on my lights. It attaches to a drill and you use 500, 800, and 3000 grit attachments to buff it, followed by rubbing compound on a sponge. My lights look brand new but I'm now worried about the lights yellowing from UV damage since you essentially sand away part of the headlight and re-finish it in order to get it looking new again.
