man, i spent like an hour making dinner last night. took forever to unthaw these chicken thigh cutlets i had, finally got them thawed enough to pull them apart. threw them in the pan, cooked them forever, crisped up both sides just like i like.
made the rest of the dish, pasta and asparagus and what not.'
girlfriend came home "are those the chicken thighs that expired three days before you froze them?"

i was too paranoid to eat them all so i only had one and threw the other 7 away
