So basically it's either he was back in reality by the end or he was one layer deep in dream still without realizing it, which seemed like the whole point of the ending, to leave it in limbo so people aren't %100 percent sure. I left thinking he was in reality but I was tired as shit (maybe not the best movie to see with no rest it turns out h so who knows, though I had no trouble following the plot.

Half way through though I thought I was thinking too far ahead and had figured out that his wife escaped and he was still stuck, thought I spoiled the twist for myself but by the end I no longer thought that :shrug:
