So my buddy just moved in with me this weekend. He hooked his PS3 to my 50" Hitachi DLP tv and the screen is very blurry/snowy. You can kind of see what's on the screen, but it's difficult to see anything. We have it hooked up just using an HDMI cable to my tv. We've tried 2 different cables. We even tried hooking it up on his 40" samsung, and it works fine on his just using an HDMI.

What could the problem be? We've plugged it into different HDMI ports with different cables. My 360 Elite, N64 & Wii all work on my Hitachi, but his PS3 doesn't. Any solutions?
