I started hanging out with this chick about a month ago. She's cool as hell. Anyway.

Last night we went to Hollywood to catch Crystal Method at some industry party. Anyway we were right up against the stage, just dancing and having a good time. Then she turned around and planted one on me. And we made out for the rest of the night.

This morning we had "the talk." You know, the bit where you get told "Listen, you're a nice guy, *but*"

As it turns out she's still getting over another dude, and she doesn't want me to be the rebound guy. She even told me I'm a lot better than him, but she wants the relationship to be for real, not just to fill a sudden void. We both agreed that we were just really drunk last night and things got a little out of hand. But if we wanted something to come out of this, then making out and hooking up isn't the way to go about doing it. We both like each other but it's better to take it slow, feel things out, and see where it goes.
