Default Tires tires tires

So I have a question about my tires/ rims. They're the stock 15-in alloy rims (5 spoke ones) on a 2001 accord. I'm told that from time to time they can get a little corrosion where the bead is for the tire. This corrosion causes the tire to leak slowly, but surely.

I got hit on my rear driver's side and had the rim replaced and that particular wheel is the is the problem cause it goes from full to flat in about 8-10 days.

Which would be better:

Grind the rim smooth and re-bead the tire, with the potential of having the problem again in the future.

or

Tube the tires.
