For the guys who have been in long term relationships and have bailed ... have you ever felt like NOT being in one at all? I think I'm burned out and "girls" seem to be on the bottom of my priority list. I'm all for making friends and spending time with people, but just not at that level. This past weekend, I turned down a "sure thing" because I just couldn't do it. Does that even make sense? :hs:
Something I've realized that in a long-term relationship, both entities kinda absorb into each other. Pending your personality type, you might even become someone you're not. That happened to me. One way by myself, another when I'm with her. Fuck that noise.
Since March, I've been on a rediscovery of what makes me happy. It comes down to ...
1. Being in shape.
2. Hobbies. (games, cars)
3. Being useful. (@ work, around the house, to friends, etc)
