a nice DIY mod is painting the OEM skirts and lips. Thats what I did to mine but i had it professionally done b/c I had other stuff done at the same time. To me it makes a BIG difference, and if lowered it should look really nice. And shouldn't cost much if you DIY. Clear it out with some xenons and drop it, and it should be really nice.
Accords weren't meant to go fast unless it has extensive mods and that means extensive $$$, which is why my only mods are mainly for looks, sound, and increase gas mileage.
