Yesterday, I was in Chicago for an interview at 8:30. Had to fight my way through thousands of people to make it to the office I'm currently contracting at.

The office is known as the "Diamond Building". It's the one in the Chicago skyline that looks like ... well ... a diamond. It's located on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street, about 3 blocks from the parade's ending point. Here's the view from the corner conference room.

Wah-bam. Toews and Kane with the cup.

The Stanley Cup was the last bus in the convoy. After the bus drove by, police broke down the barricades and the streets filled with people following the Blackhawks. It was like the parade was collapsing on itself.

On every major corner along the route, video walls were prepped so folks could watch the celebration finale / stage presentations.

It was an electric atmosphere. Once-in-a-lifetime type stuff.
