Default Which car to buy?

So I'm in the market to get rid of my '06 Civic and get something different. I'm looking at 2 totally different cars. First up:

* 1997-01 Corvette: I've always loved the Vette and wanted one since I was little. I like the styling and you can find these year models with low miles and a decent price. The only major con I can see is the maintenance cost of this car. I don't drive my Civic too often since I have a take home car for work. I only put about 100 miles on my car every 2 weeks or so. But I still couldn't see spending $1,500 on a set of run-flat tires (if I stuck with them). Lots of cargo room area in the back, which I like.

next up:

* 2004-2006 Honda S2000: Awsome car in my opinion. I've test driven a few and loved them. I can get an '04-06 for about the same price as the Vette and the maintenance cost would be much lower than and insurance costs would be lower. I'd probably get about the same fuel economy since I don't run my cars hard. The only major con I can think of is it being a convertible. Don't get me wrong, I love convertibles, but I don't need one all year long...but I could get a hard top to cure that. Also, there's not a ton of trunk space...not that I really need it, but you never know.

So what do you guys think? I posted a poll. I'd be using the new (to me) car for casual driving. Not really a Daily Driver since I have a car for work already. Just something to ride around in when I run errands or go on trips.

I'm single, so I don't need to worry about both being a 2 seater.
