We are using a b18b head. I am pretty sure we will have to modify the pistons. We had the block bored out 20 over. A block guard would probably help us get where we need to be. Thanks for your input. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I would doublecheck your clearances before doing anything to the pistons. You may not need to modify anything if you only bored 20 thousanths over stock, but if you do need more clearance, I would consider having the combustion chambers on the head deshrouded to accomodate the new pistons while you're getting it ported.
