Man you guys forgot the Halo feel. I agree there is alot of improvements to be made. But Halo's slayer has always been a run out and kill game. So many times i almost died but the other team sucked too much to kill me.
The melee engine is fucked. You run, gun, punch ... realize the guy hasn't died ... gun some more ... then some random BS grenade takes you out from 10 feet away. Also, when the hammer guy lunges, he looks like a fucking ice skater.
In H3, there's a counter balance to the runners ... in Reach, you just can't stop a hammer. You just can't stop a sword. In H3, I can make you pay for picking up that stuff.
Trust the people who are on this for over 4 hours a night, this gameplay isn't right. Going from H3 where I have a consistent 2.0-ish K/D ratio ... I can't even go positive in Reach using the exact same playing style. When you play games within the same family, there's not supposed to be this drastic of a change.
