+1. I got the HT-RC160 a few months ago instead of the SR-607 because it was a lot better deal. I think I paid like $340 for the receiver and it came with a free iphone/ipod dock that works great with the system. It is essentially the same model as the 607 but you lose a front HDMI port and 10 watts per channel but to me it was worth the price difference. It's been great for my first receiver so far.
