Yeah, I know about mods and thier relationship to selling price; I have quite a few on my current vehicle. BUT, the mods he has, I am going to do (I/E wheels & tires, springs), so its kind of saves me same time and expense of procurement and install.

Heck, I could sell the mods off myself for a pretty penny.
