But with those mods, I'd offer 19,000, buy the car, remove the mods, restore it to factory specs (hopefully he has all the origional parts), and sell it then for 21,000. He says that price is firm, but either he will sell that to a poor sap who buys on emotion or he will have to lower his price. Again, mods take away from a cars value.
Yeah, I know about mods and thier relationship to selling price; I have quite a few on my current vehicle. BUT, the mods he has, I am going to do (I/E wheels & tires, springs), so its kind of saves me same time and expense of procurement and install.
Heck, I could sell the mods off myself for a pretty penny.
