Like I said if he had just taken a little bit he could have accomplished much more, now instead he has to pay them and suffer the aggrivation of paying the enemy as well as the loss of your child.
Sucks but the precedent has been set. Sometimes you just have to go small for the greater good.
OK so say he went for say 20 grand ... phelps and his kind still would have appealed and with the same judge the outcome still would have been the same because phelps HAS to appeal. if he stuck with the verdict then that means no more protesting like he likes to. no matter the dollar amount he sued them for he still would be in this position.
besides it's still far from over as the supreme court has agreed to hear the case. maybe you missed the part where he said he isn't paying shit regardless of court order
