i think i've figured out how to hear myself. my headphones have an optional secondary input, which i can hopefully use with the computer sound. i'll have to see if you can have 2 sources playing at once. and figure out how to split the sound coming out of the computer. i was originally just gonna try to do a robot voice. i also found a different program i'm going to try that has the option to turn it on and off easier. all of the programs i've found are for playing games on the same computer as the voice software, so it's a little tricky getting the computer to output to the xbox.

edit: can't have the secondary input playing at the same time as the xbox, so hearing myself will still be tricky.
