My grandma is a pain in the ass to take a picture of. Any time she's in a group shot, everyone else will be looking at the camera and smiling, but she's looking off to the left and doing this upside-down-trying-to-smile-but-doesn't-look-like-a-smile look. Then if you try and point a camera at her she'll stick her hands on her head and look goofy so you won't take a picture of her. Soooooooo my family doesn't have too many good pictures of grandma, and she's 87, so who knows how long she's gonna still be around to get her picture taken.

I went down to Chicago to visit yesterday and I figure since I now have a proper camera I would bring it with and try to wrangle grandma in front of it. I took a few, and yes she was a pain like usual, but I think I managed to get a good one.



I sent it to my mom (this is my grandma on my mom's side), we'll see what she thinks.
