Default SRS warning light

For safety go ahead and disconnect the battery .... other then that the controller R2 is straight forward. No special hints for my app ... can't speak for them all.
96 EX,
Thanks for the info!

When I took my 95 DelSol in for diagnostics, my Honda dealer advised me that I needed a new SRS module (for about $620) + around $700 for labor, and asked me if I want to go ahead and get it fixed. I turned down their offer and left my Honda dealer after paying them $120 for their diagnostics.

And I've been driving my DelSol around with the SRS warning light on for a few months... And one morning, I found my battery completely dead. The SRS warning light came on, when my battery started to acting up...so, I always thought that perhaps the SRS warning light had something to do with my battery.

Good news is that my hunch was right!
I installed a brand new battery about a week ago, reset the warning light via MES connector and I no longer have the SRS warning light illuminated. My problem is solved with a brand new battery.

Isn't that kind of ironical when my Honda dealer quoted me for over $1300 for the job? Well, that is why I don't trust any dealer.

Good day
