Pump e85, even with only a 105oct rating, routinely out performs leaded 110oct, and has produced results comparable to C16 (at least in the Evo world). Mixing in more gasoline with e85, will reduce the ethanol content, which reduces it's cooling effect. To get the best results without dry rotting your fuel system would be straight ethanol mixed in with about 2% of race gas.
