I've been smelling coolant for a month or so. Times are rough and I've been trying to limp along.

I put some coolant in it a week or two ago. Today on the drive home it overheated. Sitting on the side of the road with my hood open waiting for it to cool down and stop smoke/steam.

I can see some wetness down around the bottom of the engine bay and I don't see anything in the coolant tank.

Safe to assume I'm leaking/loosing coolant? Someone suggested check my oil, it's dark but not milky or foamy.

Oh, and I'm barely (if at all) getting any heat inside the cabin.

What should I check next?
