I have a blast playing with people I know, you can joke around a lot more and even if we're getting tooled on we have our ways of messing with the opposing team.
I've had a whole team switch to a riot shield class and take over a match of headquarters. we've even had a whole team of recon class guys running around with knifes or dual wield shotguns.
