Took Mar's grandparents for a tour around the island today. Started off well with a stop for some grub and drinks. Then up H3 (newest of the 3 freeways) through the beautiful mountain passes and tunnels into Kaneohe (K-Bay) Took some shots and drove up to Nu'uanu/Pali Lookout.
Basically it's a terrace on the mountainside where ancient Hawaiian's had one of their last great battles. They drove over 400 of their enemies over the cliffside.
Anyways... It's always super windy and rainy over there and although there's a guardrail, shit happens. So I pull up and there's like 12 cop cars, the heavy rescue firetruck and.. the fucking MEDICAL EXAMINER! I knew it was bad news. Get up to the cliff and all the cops are there and there's some lady balling her eyes out and shit.
Turns out her 80 yo father fell down the cliff to his death. I don't know if his death was intentional or not. The cops had to rapel down to fetch his body.
You can see some of the cops interviewing the wife or daughter in the background of this picture. I didn't take anymore cause it would've been hella rude.

BTW, most of the cops here use their own private cars. Freaking 4Runners, Camaros (new ones), and this totally awesome Altima SER.
Cliffs: Went to Pali Lookout today where some dude just died and cops are ricers too.
