tested the ceiling speakers. they aren't fantastic but they aren't half bad either. certainly better than the speakers in the logitech z-5450 with their 2.5" drivers. so i've decided to keep them for now and wait until next year for the speaker companys sale h:

but I will be picking up one of their subwoofer since I'll be without a sub now.

hopefully my receiver will come in tomorrow and I can hook everything up to the receiver and give them a better evaluation.
